DID YOU KNOW? Holy Name of Jesus has a chapter of the St. Vincent DePaul Society. Members are known as Vincentians, and their mission is to perform charitable acts within the community. This is accomplished with donations made by parishioners. If you would like to make a difference in our local community, there are Poor Box envelopes available on the bulletin tables and they can be placed in the collection basket. If you would like to know more about the organization or our Christmas food collection and gift give away, pick up a brochure also found on the bulletin tables. We are proud to make a direct impact on the needy in our area!

The Saint Vincent de Paul Society was founded by Frédéric Ozanman and his companions for the relief of the spiritual and corporal needs of individuals in 1833 in France. The members were influenced by the writings of Saint Vincent de Paul and thus the name of The Society was given.

The Holy Name of Jesus The Saint Vincent de Paul Society ministers to the spiritual and corporal needs of both parishioners and members of the community. Their works include donations of food and clothing, transportation, assistance with shelter, and visits to the sick and imprisoned.
