Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese martial art that is now practiced as a
slow motion form of exercise to promote good health, improve
balance/stability, and to feel energized. At Holy Name, Tai Chi is
practiced on Tuesdays, from 6:00 to 7:00 PM, in the Social
Hall/Cafeteria during basketball season and in the Gym in the spring
and summer months. Instructors Ben Rocuskie and Mary Ridder studied
for three and a half years under Sifu Dwayne Raneiri and have been
conducting classes at Holy Name for the past 10 years. For more
